Alive with Clive TV Show MagEzine -- May 12, 2008

Welcome to the inaugural edition of the Alive with Clive TV Show MagEzine!

This is the first of many MagEzines in which I'll be telling you about developments occurring with my TV show, Alive with Clive -- Turning Your Passion Into Profit!  The TV Show That Inspires You To Multiply Your Magnificence!

I'll also be telling you about guests who have been or will be on my show, among other items of note.

First up, I'm delighted to announce . . .

1.  The new Web site for Alive with Clive

For those of you who don't yet know, I have now created a Web site for Alive with Clive.

You can find it at www.alivewithclive.tv

It is now possible for you to see who my guests have been over the past year and a half, and other information about the show is available on the Web site as well, together with a few press releases.

I am also close to posting videos of shows on the Web site.

I'd recommend you visit the site and see who my guests have been.  If there is a recent show you'd like to see, please let me know.  If there is a strong demand for it, it has a chance of being one of the first videos to be posted.

The site offers guests who have been on Alive with Clive a wonderful way to gain additional exposure, so if you have been a guest, do whatever you can to encourage your fans or followers to visit the site -- by communicating with them by email or by posting links to www.alivewithclive.tv on your Web sites -- and request that your video be posted so that more people can fall in love with you!

Now, here's a 10-star recommendation for you . . .

2.  Be sure to see Cassandra Kubinski ASAP!

I first saw Cassandra Kubinski perform at a charitable event at The Cutting Room in Manhattan in April of 2007, and since then have been to as many of her performances as possible because she is an amazing and brilliant musician with a magnificent repertoire of songs.

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing her on Alive with Clive for the second time on Friday, May 2, and during the interview she performed two songs, the first called Racecar, which is on her fabulous CD, Hold The Sun, and the second, one of her newest songs she initially created while riding on a subway from Brooklyn to Hoboken, called Sometime After Midnight

To see the press release I recently issued about her May 2 interview on Alive with Clive, click here.

So far, at her concerts, I've been able to get one of the best seats in the house just about every time.  One time, at Googie's Lounge, she even let me sit on the stage while she performed with her guitarist, James Adamo, so I was the only one in the audience to see her fingers grace the keys of the famous white piano there during her performance.

With her increasing popularity, though, I know my days of enjoying such superb seats at her concerts are numbered.

She is unquestionably destined to become a mega superstar.  The only question is:  How soon?

So, I highly recommend you do whatever it takes to see her perform while you still can in an intimate setting as soon as possible.

She will be performing at the Metropolitan Room (www.metropolitanroom.com) on Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17, at 7.30 p.m.  $20 Admission.  $15 drink/dessert minimum at the tables.  The Metropolitan Room is located at 34 West 22nd Street (between 5th and 6th Avenue), New York, NY  10010.  Phone:  (212) 206-0440.  Fax (212) 206-0433.  I will be at Cassandra's show on Saturday, and she has assured me that she will reserve good seats for me and others who accompany me to her performance on Saturday, and will also make sure you get a good seat on Friday if you are part of a group and want to see her perform on Friday.

So, if you want to see Cassandra up close and personal while you still can, let me know if you'll be joining me on Saturday or whether you will see her perform with a group of your friends on Friday.

If you are not able to be at the Metropolitan Room on Friday or Saturday evening, she is also in the midst of a tour of Borders bookstores in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, and can be seen at the Borders bookstore in the following areas on these dates and at these times:

Other established artists who performed at Borders on the way to becoming household names include Nora Jones, KT Tunstall and Sarah Bareilles, and Cassandra is following closely in their footsteps.  In fact, she was the first one in this august line-up of superstar musicians to cause a shortage of seats when she played at the Borders Kips Bay store this past Thursday.

I promise you, after you see Cassandra perform, you will thank me for recommending that you see her and I also recommend you pick up a copy of her CD, Hold The Sun, as soon as possible.  You will love it!

For additional information about Cassandra, her music and her upcoming shows, go to www.ckubinski.com and www.myspace.com/cassandrakubinski

I look forward to hearing whether you'd like to join me at the Metropolitan Room for Cassandra's concert at 7.30 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, or whether you want to see her perform with a group of your friends on Friday, May 16.

Have a magnificent week!

Best regards.

Clive
