Announcement From Clive
I
received word this past Sunday, August 10, that my father, Abraham Swersky, passed
away earlier that day. On Monday, August 11, I flew to Cape Town, South
Africa, and attended his funeral on Wednesday, August 13.
I
am spending time with my family and we have been receiving an outpouring of
support from friends and relatives at our home.
The
compilation CD I am creating with songs from the musicians in The
Alive with Clive Top 20
will be dedicated to remembering and honoring the life of my father, who made an
immense contribution to his family, his clients and his community.
While
I have limited access to email and the internet for the next few days, I am pleased
to see that voting has continued to be strong for musicians in The
Alive with Clive Top 20
over the past week.
I
congratulate John Taglieri for moving into second place with 115 votes, behind
Anthony Melillo who remains firmly placed in the # 1 position in The
Alive with Clive Top 20
with 375 votes. I also congratulate Alex P. Taylor for moving into The
Alive with Clive Top 5,
and Dan Sheehan for being the big mover of the week by moving into the seventh
