1.  Google's Contest For Ideas That Can Change The World

In a press release issued on September 24, 2008, Google announced that it is pledging $10 million to fund charitable projects suggested by Google users to implement ideas that can "change the world by helping as many people as possible."

As part of the Project 10^100 (pronounced Project 10 to the 100th), Google is asking its users to submit ideas until October 20 for ways to improve people's lives.  Google will choose what it feels are the 100 best ideas and then allow its users to vote on which of them should be funded.

The users will narrow the results to 20 finalists, and a panel of judges will choose up to five ideas that will receive funding.

I will be entering the contest based on my idea to introduce synergistic philanthrocapitalism^TM to the world. 

The concept of creating the Alive with Clive compilation CD with 20 songs from each of the musicians who end up in The Alive with Clive Top 20, and then selling the CD to raise millions of dollars for millions of people suffering from AIDS in South Africa, is one demonstration of synergistic philanthrocapitalism^TM in action, and is also an integral part of my quest to gain as much exposure as possible for the musicians in The Alive with Clive Top 20 to help them thrive!

Irena Makarchuk managed to close the large gap between her and Anthony Melillo, but with 533 votes Anthony still has a lead of over 200 votes over Irena to remain at the top of The Alive with Clive Top 20 Chart.  Cassandra Kubinski has once again overtaken Jeneen Terrana to move into fourth place, behind John Taglieri who remains in third place.
