1.  THE FIRST Alive with Clive Book of the Month 

It gives me great pleasure to announce the launch this Columbus Day of The Alive with Clive Book of the Month!

In previous issues of The Alive with Clive TV Show MagEzine, I've mentioned my promise for the world and my desire to see a new form of capitalism I call synergistic philanthrocapitalism^TM become the cornerstone for business transactions in the future.

As reminder, my promise for the world is that "by 2030, every person on the planet is lit up, fully self expressed and living passionately, creating an upward spiral of brilliance and joy beyond belief."

And the idea behind The Alive with Clive Top 20, which is to create a compilation CD -- with a song from each of the musicians who end up in The Alive with Clive Top 20 on the day voting ends -- to be sold to raise millions of dollars for people suffering from AIDS in South Africa, is a demonstration of synergistic philanthrocapitalism^TM in action!

Now, it recently occurred to me that I can create additional synergies with The Alive with Clive Top 20 if I invite authors with best-selling books to agree to give away a FR*EE book to five people who have voted for their favorite musician or band to be in The Alive with Clive Top 20 and whose names are selected in a drawing.  The authors benefit by having their books become known to all the people who learn about The Alive with Clive Top 20, and the voters benefit by becoming aware of enriching books.  Plus five fortunate voters will win a FR*EE book simply because they took the time to vote.

In the past couple of weeks, in honor of International Passion Day and International Passion Month, I sent you a couple of emails about a book that has influenced my thinking and the choices I have made for my life more than any other -- and which holds a special place in my heart!  That book is the New York Times bestseller called The Passion Test by Chris and Janet Attwood.

Today, I'm thrilled to announce that The Passion Test is THE FIRST Alive with Clive Book of the Month!

To celebrate this announcement, I'm declaring that everyone who has voted -- by providing their first and last name and email address -- for a musician or band up until now and everyone who votes from now on -- by providing their first and last name and email address -- will be entered in a drawing to win one of five FR*EE copies of The Passion Test Janet and Chris Attwood have kindly agreed to send to the winners.  The more times you vote, the greater will be your chance of winning one of the five FR*EE copies of The Passion Test, and musicians who vote for themselves are also eligible to win one of the five FR*EE books too.  The drawing will take place sometime before the end of the year, and the exact date will be announced within the next few weeks.

To gain as much publicity as possible for the drawing, I will be approaching the major TV Networks -- ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and Fox -- to offer them the chance to have me and Janet and Chris Attwood as guests every morning one week soon to announce the winners.  The idea is that on each morning, a different musician in The Alive with Clive Top 5 will accompany us and sing one of his or her songs.  

Our visit to the TV network (or networks) that invite(s) us will bring attention to:

• The plight of people, particularly new-born babies and young children, suffering from AIDS in South Africa; 

• The compilation CD I am creating to raise money for them; 

• The benefits of synergistic philanthrocapitalism^TM in action; and

• The upward spiral of brilliance and joy that would be created in the world from people living life in alignment and congruent with their passions, which they'd determine and establish by reading and completing The Passion Test!

This past Friday, I had the pleasure once again of interviewing Irena on Alive with Clive, and during the interview she sang her fabulous new song, Heart Strings, as well as the theme song for Harmony4Kidz, Save The World!

Cassandra Kubinski

A fabulous article about Madi has just been published in The Boston Globe!  While Madi recently moved to Nashville with her guitarist, Kyle Ryan, f/k/a Kyle Hurlbut, she and Kyle will be performing at The Watercolor Cafe in Larchmont, New York, on Tuesday, November 21, at 8 p.m., and at other venues in Manhattan later that week, and will also be releasing a new EP on November 6.

3.  The Latest New Contender For A Spot In The Alive with Clive Top 20

This past Friday, I also had the pleasure of interviewing another dynamic independent emerging musician by the name of Sheba Sahlemariam.  Sheba has just released a superb new single with a rocking pulsating beat called Love This Lifetime, and when you listen to it you'll know why people all over the world want to hear it NOW!  She has also posted a YouTube video featuring her singing the song on her My Space page, www.myspace.com/shebasahlemariam.

4.  What's Happening In The Alive with Clive Top 20

In thinking about what has happened in The Alive with Clive Top 20 this past week, the names of two famous people immediately come to mind:  Yogi Berra and Alfredo Pareto.

Yogi Berra said:  "You can observe a lot just by watching!"

In The Alive with Clive TV Show MagEzine I issued last week on October 5, I noticed that Irena Makarchuk had narrowed the gap between her and Anthony Melillo to 142 votes.  While Irena remains doggedly determined to replace Anthony at the top of the Chart, Anthony has made it clear that he is not about to allow Irena to dethrone him.  The result is that since my last Ezine, Anthony has added a most impressive 90 votes to give him a total of 643 votes, while Irena has obtained an additional 78 votes, giving her a total of 489 votes as of 12.30 p.m. today.  So Anthony has once again increased his lead by 12 votes to 154 votes.  Congratulations, Anthony, and Irena too, for gaining so many additional votes.

Other details to note about what is occurring in The Alive with Clive Top 20 are as follows:

• The Top 7, or roughly 20% of the musicians eligible to be in The Alive with Clive Top 20 have garnered roughly 80% of all the votes that have been cast.  That is why Alfredo Pareto, the Italian economist who is known for introducing the famous Pareto Principle or 80/20 rule to the world, comes to mind!

• Jerry Cherry continues to move up The Alive with Clive Top 20 Chart, and has now moved past several other musicians who have been languishing in the lower echelons of the Chart for weeks to claim the # 16 spot.  Incidentally, I attended his excellent concert at Rockwood Music Hall this past Monday night and have been listening to his superb CD, Life Is Sweeter.  I believe you are going to be hearing a lot more of him soon, since he reminds me of Mick Jagger and has all the attributes to make it into the BIG leagues!  For more about Jerry, go to www.jerrycherry.com and www.myspace.com/jerrycherryband

• Only a vote or two continues to separate several of the musicians in the bottom half of the bottom half of The Alive with Clive Top 20 Chart, so if any one of them chooses to get into action, they can make a major move fast.  They should also note that they are likely to face stiff competition from a couple of new dynamic contenders with a big fan base who will soon be appearing on Alive with Clive and are eager to blaze a trail up Chart.
