1.  If you could vote for me, would you?

As many of you know by now, last week I announced the launch of the Web site for the domain name I acquired a few weeks ago -- www.synergisticphilanthrocapitalism.com -- in a Press Release with the headline,

Alive with Clive TV Show Host, Clive Swersky, Launches A New Web Site To Promote A New Kind Of Capitalism

In case you missed the launch announcement and Press Release, you can find the Press Release when you click here now or copy and paste the following link into your Web browser:

http://alivewithclive.tv/PressReleases/LaunchPrRlSPC110608.htm

In recent issues of The Alive with Clive TV Show MagEzine, I've told you that my plan is to sell at least 50 million copies (or a downloadable version) of the compilation CD I am creating with a song from each of the musicians I have interviewed on Alive with Clive who end up in The Alive with Clive Top 20 on the day voting ends.  I've also told you that I recently entered Google's contest, Project 10^100, to find and fund -- with a total of $10,000,000 -- five charitable projects that can change the world by helping as many people as possible.

For more information about Google's contest, click here now, or copy and paste the following link into your Web browser:

http://www.project10tothe100.com/

After you visit www.synergisticphilanthrocapitalism.com and enter your name and email address there to see the seven major factors that led to the creation of that Web site, you'll be able to read the outline of my plan to sell at least 50 million CDs.

By January 27, 2009, Google will have sifted through over 100,000 entries received and will be asking its users to vote for the top 20 out of top 100 selected.

So my question to you today is this:

If my entry is selected as one of the top 100, would you vote for me?

Please visit www.synergisticphilanthrocapitalism.com, enter your name and email address on the Home Page and read the outline of my plan.  Then let me know whether or not you'd vote for me, as well as any other comments you'd like me to read, by sending an email to me at high5clive@hotmail.com.  I look forward to hearing from you!

2.  Two fabulous examples of synergistic philanthrocapitalismTM in action!

First, one of my guests on Alive with Clive this past Friday was Dave Lalin, the founder and principal of Audio Doctor.  Audio Doctor has been engaged in the design and installation of professional home theaters and media rooms for over 16 years.  It was born out of Dave's desire to improve premium home theaters and audio systems, and offer cutting-edge international brands of the highest caliber.

For more information about Audio Doctor, go to www.audiodoctor.com or call (877) 4AV-CURE (877) 428-2873.

Dave mentioned that he installed the audio systems in the home seen in Sex and the City:  The Movie at 2 East 63rd Street between Fifth and Madison in Manhattan that features the work of several top interior designers.

The home has been donated by Emily and Len Blavatnik and is available for viewing to members of the public every day until December 7, 2008, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (and until 8 p.m. on Thursdays).  The price of admission is $30 and proceeds benefit The Greater New York City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure (for breast cancer).

For more information about the home and tours, go to www.holidayhouseny.com.

The whole concept is a wonderful example of synergistic philanthrocapitalismTM in action!

Second, for another extraordinary example of synergistic philanthrocapitalismTM in action, pay a visit to www.grassroots.org -- the internet for charity!

Shane Hankins, Executive Director of Grassroots.org, was my guest on Alive with Clive on Friday, October 31.

Grassroots.org is an umbrella organization that enables a vast array of free business-related services to be provided to registered 501(c)(3) (not-for-profit) organizations to give them valuable expertise and save them money so that more of the money they receive in contributions can be dedicated to the causes they support.  The types of free services not-for-profit organizations receive through the efforts of Grassroots.org include phone services, domain registration, project consulting, consulting on search engine optimization, web hosting, language translation, web site building and web site design.

The ultimate goal of Grassroots.org is to provide 10,000 not-for-profit organizations with $10,000 worth of services for a total savings to the not-for-profit community of $100 million per year.

If you are in any way affiliated with a not-for-profit organization that would benefit from the services coordinated by Grassroots.org, be sure to refer the organization to www.grassroots.org now.

3.  The latest new contender for a spot in The Alive with Clive Top 20

This past Friday, I became the proud owner of . . . a tube of Vegemite, a product proudly made in Australia.  Vegemite is one of the world's richest known sources of Vitamin B -- which is not only important for energy release and vitality, but also for growth and development, healthy skin and proper functioning of the nervous system, muscles and brain.

How, you might be asking, did that happen?

Well, the tube of Vegemite was given to me by the delightfully charming and vivaciously exuberant Australian singer/songwriter, Kylie Edmond, in the middle of my interview with her on Alive with Clive.  During her interview, Kylie performed two of her songs accompanied on guitar by William Rottman, Endless Days, a song about the carefree days we all knew as kids, and Oh No No, a moving song for women caught in abusive relationships.

With her appearance on Alive with Clive, Kylie became the newest contender for a spot in The Alive with Clive Top 20!

Any doubt about whether she is a major force to be reckoned with in The Alive with Clive Top 20 has already been eliminated, as you'll see by reading about what is happening in The Alive with Clive Top 20, below.

4.  What's Happening in The Alive with Clive Top 20?

There are five noteworthy developments to report about what is happening in The Alive with Clive Top 20:

First, Anthony Melillo, who performed two new songs and a third from his recently-released debut album, Just Gettin' Started, on his second appearance on Alive with Clive on Friday, October 31, continues to astound me and I'm sure many others too with his amazing ability to inspire his fans to vote for him continuously and consistently.  A few days ago he crossed the 1,000 vote threshold and now (last time I checked) already has 1,112 votes, 265 more than the lady who was at one point threatening to topple him from the top of The Alive with Clive Top 20 Chart, Irena Makarchuk, who remains in second place with 847 votes.  Congratulations, Anthony, and all of your fans!

To see the list of Anthony's upcoming performances, go to www.myspace.com/melillomusicpro

A special acknowledgment is also due to Irena who has 584 votes more than the next musician on the Chart.

Second, Cassandra Kubinski has overtaken John Taglieri to claim ownership of third place in The Alive with Clive Top 20! with 263 votes.

Cassandra has just posted several videos on YouTube.  So if you want to see why I and so many others think that she is such an amazing talent, click here now or copy and paste the following link into your Web browser:

She has also just posted a beautiful new song called Open on her My Space songwriter page at www.myspace.com/songwriterck.  And to hear songs from her CD, Hold The Sun, go to her official My Space page at www.myspace.com/cassandrakubinski

Cassandra's next performance in Manhattan will be on Saturday, November 22, 2008, at Googie's Lounge, 154 Ludlow Street, at 9.30 p.m.

Third, as noted above, Kylie Edmond became a contender only this past Friday, and already she has leapfrogged over many other contenders to claim 9th place in The Alive with Clive Top 20 with an incredible 130 votes in just six days.  That is one of the fastest, most impressive, starts for anyone in The Alive with Clive Top 20 on record.  Congratulations, Kylie, and all of your fans!

Kylie has recently been organizing a series of concerts called Girls Rock The Night and you can catch the next one of this series at Caffe Vivaldi, 32 Jones Street (between West 4th and Bleecker) in Manhattan, on Tuesday, November 18.  The concert will feature performances by Kylie at 8.30 p.m., Markeisha Ensley, who is currently at # 19 in The Alive with Clive Top 20, at 9.10 p.m., Danielle Tersini at 9.50 p.m. and Kerry Politzer at 10.25 p.m.

Fourth, Joe Venice also continues to impress with his vote-getting ability.  He has just overtaken Dan Sheehan and several other contenders to move into 7th place in The Alive with Clive Top 20!

Fifth, Joe Travers has moved up six places on the chart from 19th place to 13th with 39 votes.  His second CD, Harbor, is now available on CD Baby.  In addition, two of his songs, Art of War and Call It America, which are both extraordinary, are in the Top 3% of Neil Young's 2,910 Songs of the Times List.  To find out about Joe's CDs, and help him to get Art of War and Call It America into the Top 10 on the Songs of the Times List, go to www.joetravers.net and click on "online store" and "links."

The latest Alive with Clive Top 20 Chart was published at 5 p.m. yesterday, Thursday, November 13, complete with updated My Space plays and links to the My Space pages of not only all the musicians in The Alive with Clive Top 20 but also an additional ten on the outside looking in.
