1. I've started a blog!
In my ongoing and relentless quest to make as many people as possible aware of the musicians who are contenders for a slot in The Alive with Clive Top 20, I devoted some time over the past few days to create my blog at www.wordpress.com.
Did I encounter snags, setbacks and obstacles? Absolutely. But I received absolutely phenomenal assistance from the folks in the support department at Wordpress. And so, now, it gives me great pleasure to introduce you to my brand new blog!

Why, you might be wondering, did I start a blog when I already send out an Ezine?
The answer is simple. So I can connect with an entire new universe consisting of people who visit social bookmarking and social networking sites, and that entire new universe can become acquainted with the musicians in and the mission behind The Alive with Clive Top 20.
When you visit my blog, you'll see I've made it simple for you to subscribe to it by clicking on the orange button with the white lines to be linked to it through an RSS Feed, or by adding my blog to the list of blogs to which you subscribe in your Google Reader. If you're not already taking advantage of these tools to keep track of important developments on topics that are of interest to you, I highly recommend that you begin doing so today.
For example, I am keeping track of all news items relating to "The Alive with Clive Top 20" and "(RED)WIRE," and receive two separate emails every day from Google with the latest news on these topics.
I have also subscribed to three blogs so far and so when I go to my Google Reader, I can see the latest posts that have been added to these blogs.

A major milestone has just been reached in The Alive with Clive Top 20. Anthony Melillo, who has been at the top of the Alive with Clive Top 20 Chart since it's inception, has just reached a truly remarkable grand total of 1,403 votes. Irena Makarchuk is still in second place with 1,299 votes. She is followed by Joe Venice in third place with 574 votes and Kylie Edmond in fourth place with 331 votes.
Anthony recently received some exciting news: This past September, he submitted his song Kiss Me Sweetly from his debut CD, Just Gettin' Started, as an entrant in VH1's Song of the Year Contest, and he learned this past week that it received an Honorable Mention out of thousands worldwide.
