A few days ago, I received an email from John Galasso.
John, the handsome dude on the right in the picture below, was on Alive with Clive with the other handsome dude on the left in the picture below, renowned movie producer, Anton Evangelista, in the Spring of 2010, around the time I was launching the 1st Alive with Clive T-Shirt.
They were gracious enough to become Alive with Clive T-Shirt Launchers AND send me this picture with them looking smashing and dashing in their T-Shirts!
In September of 2010 I wrote a Blog post about the movie John and Anton created about the beneficial side effects of laughter, called Just Laugh! — The Movie.
Click on the next line to see what I had to say about it:

In the Blog post I published on September 29, 2010, about John and Anton and Just Laugh! – The Movie, this is what I had to say:
I had the pleasure of interviewing Anton and John on Alive with Clive on May 7 earlier this year. As a result of the interview and seeing Just Laugh! – The Movie, I now make use of every available opportunity to laugh as much as possible both for the joy I get from laughing and for the benefits to my immune system.
To prepare for my interview with Anton and John on Alive with Clive, I conducted research on the Internet about Norman Cousins, author of Anatomy of an Illness, about whom I’d read in the book, Awaken The Giant Within, by Anthony Robbins.
In a nutshell, Norman Cousins, who rented and watched comedies to recover from a crippling illness, deduced that if negative emotions can make you ill, positive emotions can help you to heal. And to create positive emotions, he advocated that we laugh as much as possible!
So I’ve started to apply this advice.
Over the summer, for example, I saw three wonderful comedies, all of which I highly recommend: The Bounty Hunter, starring Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler; It’s Complicated, starring Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin; and Date Night, starring Tina Fey, from Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock, Steve Carell, from The 40 Year Old Virgin, and Mark Wahlberg.
[Speaking of funny movies, for a good laugh I recently saw and highly recommend the movie, Love . . . the Coopers, too!]
. . . .
I honestly believe that just as you incorporate exercise and meditation into your daily or weekly regimen, so too should you incorporate laughter.
I strongly believe, too, that if the amount of laughing we do goes up, health care spending will go down!
I also believe that the message conveyed in the documentary, Just Laugh! – The Movie, is as important as the message about the law of attraction conveyed by the commentators on behalf of Rhonda Byrne in her documentary, The Secret!
So, in a nutshell, keep thinking about what you want to attract into your life and make a point of spending time to laugh as much as possible each and every day!
In his recent email, John told me that he is engaged in presenting a Comedy Party at Scavello’s On the Island, on City Island in the Bronx on Saturday, March 5.
For more information about the event, which starts at 7 p.m., and to see if tickets are still available, click here.
John also mentioned that he has just published a book he co-authored with his daughter, Victoria, called ‘A Smile, A Grin, A Laugh, That’s Life.’
Victoria is currently a middle school teacher in the Bronx where she uses laughter in the classroom on a daily basis to help motivate her students and educate their minds and hearts alike.
This book includes a compilation of unique stories and testimonies attesting to the power of laughter and its ability to change lives for the better.

Whenever I think of laughter, I always think of this quote from Robert G. Allen, co-author of The One Minute Millionaire and several other best sellers, who said:
“With laughter, you recover from a disaster faster.”
Speaking of quotes, Quotes To Multiply Your Magnificence, a gem of a compilation of quotes (said with every ounce of modesty the creator of this compilation could muster) is now available for you to purchase in The Alive with Clive Store.
Around the time I received the email from John, I was compiling my latest Contest with the most popular music videos.
The first video, # 20 in the Contest known as The AWC MPMVC, is the video for “Hotline Bling” by Drake.
I also happened to notice that there’s a great skit from Saturday Night Live of this video.
So to put you on the path of laughing more every day from now on, you can start by watching this skit, which happens to feature the one and only inimitable Republican Party presidential contender, Donald Trump, in person too!
By the way, if you haven’t yet begun to crack the Secret Code in The AWC MPMVC, you can join in the fun now, and experience the exhilaration of accomplishment, after you click here.
In future Blog posts, I promise to make you laugh as much as and whenever possible.
